1. Can my child participate in both JG Flag Football and Cheer as well as another fall sport, like fall baseball?

   • Absolutely — it’s definitely possible. Our practices and games are mainly on Saturdays, which makes it easier to pair with another fall sport. That said, weekday practices can overlap depending on the other sport’s schedule. As long as times don’t conflict, your child can enjoy both activities. We aim to keep our program flexible, family-friendly, and fun!

2. Can my child participate in both Mini Muskie (tackle) and JG Flag Football & Cheer?

   • Yes — it can be done, but it may take some coordination. JG Flag Football & Cheer games are primarily on Saturdays, and Mini Muskie games are primarily on Sundays, so weekend conflicts are usually minimal. The main challenge is weekday practices, which can overlap depending on your child’s Mini Muskie team or cheer schedule. We always recommend checking with your Mini Muskie coaches to be sure everything lines up. Our goal is to support whatever works best for your child and your family.

3. Is JG Flag Football Cheer the same as Mini Muskie Cheer?

   • No, they’re different programs. JG Flag Football Cheer includes stunting, while Mini Muskie Cheer does not. We also offer a smaller time commitment and a flat fee, which can be a great fit for busy families or those involved in other fall activities. We always encourage families to choose what works best for them!

4. I’m interested in donating to JG Flag Football and Cheer. How can I do that?

   • Thank you for your support! Donation information can be found at our donation page. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your contributions are tax-deductible, whether personal or business.

5. Will my flag football player be assigned to an NFL team, like the Cincinnati Bengals?

   • Yes! Each child will be assigned to a team of 8–10 players with two coaches. Teams are determined after a skills day in early August to create balance and fairness. Afterward, players will find out which team they’ve been “drafted” to. While it’s tough to place everyone on their favorite NFL team, we promise to do our best to make it a fun and exciting experience!

6. Is it true my flag football player could play at the Bengals or Browns stadium?

   • Yes! Through our NFL affiliation, there are special tournaments at locations like the Bengals and Browns stadiums. We’ll explore these opportunities at the board level and keep families informed about any events your child could participate in.
